The Hemingway Lab is in the Departments of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Our lab explores how animals acquire, process, and evaluate information in complex environments. We primarily study the foraging behavior of bees and bats to understand the causes and evolutionary consequences of animal decision-making strategies.
